Step Four

Finally got to Explorer and Drag and Drop the contentAreaUtils.js back on to the WinRar window that is open to the \content\communicator from Step Two. This will replace the file one in the archive with the one you just edited. Now save the comm.jar file and restart Mozilla 1.6.

For those of you to lazy to do all this your self, or to stupid, I don’t know which is worse!

I am including a pre-edited contentAreaUtils.js from Mozilla 1.6 to inject into the comm.jar file in the appropriate place. This version of the file PROBABLY WON’T WORK WITH ANY OTHER VERSION! If you are using any other version of Mozilla, hack at the contentAreaUtils.js file yourself. Otherwise you could break your Mozilla installation.

If you still can’t get this right. Don’t write me, you are beyond help. Go back to IE!

Also if you royally screw up your computer or lose all your data and your dog dies, it is NOT MY FAULT!
