Step Two

You will need to open the comm.jar file. A .jar file is simply a .zip file with another extension. I recommend using WinRar as it shows the nested directory structure just like Explorer. WinZip should work but it is more confusing because of the flat structure it displays.

Open comm.jar with WinRar and navigate to the \content\communicator directory.

The file we need to edit is a JavaScript file called contentAreaUtils.js. We need to extract this file to a directory so we can edit it. Don’t close WinRar leave it open, we will need it right where it is shortly.
